Marjorie Greuter District 309 Superintendent

Dr. Greuter earned her Bachelor’s degree in science education from Oral Roberts University in 1987. She taught biology, chemistry, and physics out of state for several years and moved back to her home state of Illinois in 1998. In 1999 she earned her Master’s degree in science education from Montana State University and continued to teach, most recently at Morton High School. In 2009, she earned her Master’s degree in Educational Administration from ISU and became assistant principal in Morton. She became principal of the high school there in 2012. 

After earning her Education Specialist degree from Western Illinois University in 2015, she became Superintendent at East Peoria Community High School District 309 in 2017. Dr. Greuter earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Aurora University in 2019. 

Dr. Greuter’s husband, Ric, is an East Peoria alumni as are her daughter and step-daughter. She is excited to be a part of the Raider family! In addition to education, Dr. Greuter enjoys biking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
