Tala Dimitroff is a part of the Dean's Office as the secretary. Tala was born and raised in East Peoria and graduated from EPCHS. She then attended St. Ambrose University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Music Education. She shared, "I enjoyed my time at EPCHS as a student because the teachers and staff encouraged us to become a jack of all trades. Once you pursue college, a trade, or employment, you are limited in what you can give your attention to or learn about. However, while I was a student at EP, I participated in nearly 20 extracurricular activities and held leadership roles in three of them. My class schedule was tailored to learning about topics that interested me, not just general education. I’m glad to be back in an environment where we work with students to find what suits them best, while still providing a safe and high-quality education." Outside of work, her passion lies in student leadership. She works with a university every year, training their marching band student leadership in how to operate efficiently, strategize, think logistically, and handle social-emotional issues inside the ensemble. She is also an avid reader, an active tabletop board gamer, and enjoys binge-watching new shows and movies.
