Jamie Gonigam is our Receptionist. She enjoys helping in the community and is excited to be a part of the East Peoria family!  Originally from Nebraska, she moved to Illinois at age 12. Graduating from Illini Bluffs High School, she worked as a medical assistant in a Podiatry clinic for 14 years. In 2019 she and her husband Brett welcomed their 3rd child and she stepped away from the workforce. While at home with kids, she was active as a Girl Scout troop leader, with the elementary schools Parent Teacher Club, and assisted in organizing the District 86 Kindness Closet. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, seeing live music, traveling and spending time with her family.

Dawn Higgins is our Attendance Secretary and is a part of our front office staff. Originally from Peoria, Illinois, she attended Richwood's High School, and then earned her associates degree from Illinois Central College in Substance Abuse Counseling. Dawn enjoys working at EPCHS because of the atmosphere; the camaraderie among the staff and getting to know the students each year. Outside of work she enjoys reading, sewing, gardening, crafts, and her baby grandson.
