Laura Moore is an Instructional Coach at EPCHS; she previously spent 14 years teaching with 11 of those being at EPCHS. Originally from Metamora, she graduated from Metamora Township High School before going on to Eureka College for her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and American College of Education for her Master’s in Educational Leadership. Laura shared, “My why is the ‘ah-ha’ moment. When a student or staff member tries something challenging and achieves it, it makes all the time and effort worth it. EPCHS has the greatest staff around. You would be hard pressed to find anywhere better.” Outside of work, she enjoys keeping up with her two boys and their sports.
Martin Hobbs is our Teacher of Virtual Students. Originally from Normal, Illinois, he attended Illinois State University, Florida State University and Mississippi State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Geography Education, and his Masters degrees in both Education Administration and Geoscience Education. Mr. Hobbs shares, “The EPCHS community is very close knit and care for each other. That includes staff, students and parents. It's great to be a part of this community and being able to teach the subjects that I love.” Mr. Hobbs resides in Eureka, Illinois with his wife and three teenage daughters, all of whom he values more than anything. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and all things renewable energy and energy conservation related.
Julie Olt-Hull
Julie Olt-Hull has been at EPCHS since 2008 and has been in charge of Twilight school since 2017. Originally from Pekin, she attended Pekin High School before earning her Bachelor’s degree in English from University of Iowa. She enjoys being able to work with students in a small group setting and being able to help them reach their potential. She shares that EPCHS has a wonderful staff to work with. Outside of work, she is a professional photographer as well as the SkillsUSA Photography Technology Chair for the state of Illinois.
